Movies are great. I love movies. The stories. The drama. The emotions. Movies are one of the best parts of being privileged to live at this moment in time.

Like all such blessings, this means that we should subjectively rank and argue about what the best movies are. For your consideration, therefore, below are my highly subjective movie rankings, one thru forty. Please note that these are my favorite movies, the ones I think are best and mean the most to me. This is not an attempt to convince you to agree with me. That being said, feel free to let me know where I’m incredibly wrong in the comments.
