The Vehu Rahum
God is merciful. He pardons iniquity and does not destroy.
He suppresses wrath and averts punishment.
Lord, do not withhold pity from us.
Your mercy and faithfulness have always shielded us.
Save us, O Lord our God, and unite us, that we may give thanks to Your glory, and triumph in praising You.
Who could bear it if You recorded sins?
But You forgive and are revered.
Deal with us not in accordance with our sins; punish us not for our wrong-doings.
If our sins testify against us, forgive us for the sake of Your glory.
Remember Your mercy, O Lord, Your loving kindness from of old.
The Lord will answer us in time of trouble. The God of Jacob will lift us high.
O Lord, save us! O King, answer us when we call!
Our Father, our King, be gracious to us and answer us even though we are without merit.
Be merciful to us for the sake of Your glory.
O Lord our God, heed our plea, remember the covenant of our fathers, and save us.
O Lord our God, with mighty power You rescued us from the land of Egypt, and revealed Your glory to this day.
Now we have sinned and have done evil.
O Lord, save us in the name of Your great goodness.
Withdraw Your wrath from Your holy mountain.
Because of our sins and the sins of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are mocked by all our neighbors.
O God, accept the prayer of Your servants and their supplications.
